1. What is a Floater Frame?
A floater frame is a method of framing artwork in which the art appears to float in the center of the frame. A professional framer will stretch the artwork and utilize spacers in the back of the frame to create the appearance that the art does not touch the edges of the frame like this -
The final framed portrait features a 1/4" space between the artwork and the frame, and comes with no matting and no acrylic covering.
